For instance, when planning and assigning routes, you inform us about your customers' delivery locations, and contact data, as well as provide contact and location information for your drivers responsible for the deliveries.

Location Information: While using our app, Routic, requires access to your device's location to provide specific services and functionalities. Below are the details on how we use this information:

Fine Location (GPS and network-based location): We access fine location data of driver users are linked to your account to enable real-time location tracking of drivers. This feature is crucial for:

  • Assigning stops or routes to drivers based on current location to improve delivery efficiency.
  • Allowing users to track driver progress in real-time on a map.
  • Ensuring that location-based alerts and notifications are accurate and timely.

The location data is only accessed while the app is in use or running in the background (if explicitly allowed by your settings). We do not store your location data longer than necessary to provide our services and do not share this information with third parties without your explicit consent.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the processing of location data is based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time through the app settings. However, please note that withdrawing consent may affect the functionality of our service related to route planning and driver tracking.

Payment Information: When you register for specific paid Services, we collect certain payment and billing information. This may include designating a billing representative, providing their name and contact information, and supplying payment information like payment card details, which we securely process.

To communicate with you about the Services: we utilize your contact information to send transactional communications via email and within the Services, including confirming your purchases, reminding you of subscription expirations, providing customer support, and sending technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.

To promote, market, and boost engagement with the Services: your contact information and data on your Service usage are used to send promotional communications tailored to your interests. These communications aim to increase your engagement with the Services and provide information about new features, survey requests, and newsletters. All data exchange for our Services takes place over an SSL secured communication channel, ensuring encryption and protection with digital signatures.

We never store passwords in our database.
